The Amazing Adventures of Hippy the Alien

If you met an alien, what would it be like? Well, have you met Hippy?
Hippy lives on Uranus. Hippy is a great adventurer, who has traveled to all the planets, including Earth when no one was alive. Hippy is very adventurous and is scared of basically nothing. Except volcanoes. Because one time when Hippy was traveling to Mars, he crashed into Mar’s volcano. Hippy’s best friend is Conker. Conker lives on Uranus as well as Hippy. Now we’ll tell you what Hippy looks like. Well, we’ll start of that he is very cute. Hippy is a purply blue colour with pink spots. Hippy is quite short and is probably about 120 centimeters tall. Hippy also has long, floppy antennas. Hippy never stops being kind to other aliens. Hippy loves meeting new friends. Hippy has 17 family members. Sometimes Hippy gets quite sad because all of Hippy’s family members went to Mercury. Hippy didn’t know that he had a twin brother, Hopsy. Hopsy didn’t go to Mercury because it was too hot for him. Hippy and Hopsy didn’t go because they are different types of aliens compared to their family. So anyway, do you know what it would be like to meet Hippy? Well, we’re going to tell you. You may think aliens are really scary but they’re actually really friendly. An alien like Hippy and his brother are quite shy and a type of alien that is quite secretive and minds their own business. The only way you would tell if the alien is friendly is if they have cute, floppy antennas. Well if you did meet an alien, it would be quite scary I suppose. But we wouldn’t be scared because we would be brave. But, really if you get to know aliens they will be kind, like Hippy. But don’t travel all around space just to see an alien because aliens are very sensitive and if you be mean to them they will get insulted. But that’s only because they might have never met or seen people before. Plus its not their problem, its YOURS! All aliens have different personalities and so do we. Aliens are a bit like people because they are just as kind as us. Sometimes aliens are bad tempered but that’s OK because everyone’s different and nobody’s perfect and YOU should know that. Remember aliens are aliens and they’re themselves and that’s how they’re born. Everyone’s different, even aliens and that’s including Hippy and his family. But most important, everyone’s themselves and there is NOTHING wrong with that.

Dear Dad,
How are you? What are you up to at work? In the weekend we could maybe do some more tennis or do something together. That would be fun. Anyway, I hope you are having fun. I imagine you are having lots of meetings and lots of paper work. I will be pleased when you come home. We could go on the trampoline or have a tumble fight and play some board games or go down to the beach. What about some netball? What about doing gardening, could we have a bike ride?
