This years Olympics is the 29th. It was held in Beijing, China. New Zealand got:

3 Golds,

1 Silver

and 5 Bronze

The Olympics is a contest to see how each participating country goes.
Our Golds were from:

1. Rowing finals: the Everswindal twins.

2. Shotput finals: Valerie Vili.

3. Wind-surfing finals: Tom Ashley

The Silver was from:

1. Cycling finals: Hayden Roulsten.

And finally our Bronze.

1. Rowing finals: Mahi Drysdale.

2. Rowing finals: Double Sculls

3. Biking finals: Team Pursuit

4. 1500m finals: Nicholas Wills

5. Olympic Distance: Bevan Docherty

We didn’t exactly come 1st, 2nd or 3rd like China, USA and Russia but maybe we’ll try harder next time…
in 2012 !
The Olympics went from 12.08 on Saterday to Sunday the 24th of August, So in Chinese time it would be 08/08/08 at 08 minutes past 8.00 p.m.

Come on New Zealand try harder next time, Hope you get more medals- 4 years to train hard.

Tapuwai is a great outdoor game especially because:

1.Good for 20-30 people

2. Get really fit while your having fun

3. Improves your shooting and passing skills

4. Its a famous New Zealand game that you can play in inter-school competitions

5. Its a fantastic game that everyone enjoys

6. You also can’t get out so you don’t get bored like in mac-ball and octupus.

7.Its good for classes since they can verse each other and . . .

In the middle of the galaxy far far away,a metal body alien stood in silence.
His whole body was metal exept his green head & left arm. His head has 10 stupendously huge tenticles.Up above the enormous tenticles was two yellow eyes. His left arm has glass or ever-lasting ice for one of his weapons. The ice was so sparky that you could see right through it! His suit was coloured gray and black to camouflage himself.
His kind was tough and strong but very kind-hearted.

Up in space it is so fun,
Until you see a thing thats hairy,
Whatever it is it’s got a gun,
So please don’t look, it is scary!

1. Don’t let your team down by not guarding the pole!
2. Fire only from the middle line or you could get your team out-that wont be good.
3. Keep your eyes on the ball throwers or you could cry.
4. Don’t yell out that your team is out.(just to keep them in ) or you get out & you start crying again.
5. Save your team,  take the risk !

Once upon a time there was a greedy, selfish dog. He walked past a butchers shop. He stared at a huge delicous bone. He ran into the shop and came out running as fast as he could - The butcher running after him. He ran exhausted over a bridge. He looked down into the stream and saw a dog. His bone was even jucier,Bigger and better smelling than his. He started growling and plop down goes his bone. He sadly looked down and realised that it was his own refletion.

Dear Diary,

Pardon my language but at noon I attacked ‘the pigs’. I got booby trapped from the fire under me. I felt exhausted, hot tempered & angry at losing to the pigs after the medication I had. Five injections, seven stitches and EXTRA MEAT! The pigs will pay - definitely. I do hope they’re not playing another trick but I’m armed!

This means I cannot be fooled!
No one can stop me.
